Communications Policy
Purpose
This Communications Policy is intended to promote professional, respectful, and productive communication between the Company, its employees, contractors, representatives, clients, investors, partners, talent, crew members, and members of the public.
The Company is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional working environment in accordance with accepted film and television industry standards.
Professional Communications
All communications with the Company, whether by email, telephone, post, social media, messaging applications, or in person, should be conducted in a professional and respectful manner.
The Company welcomes legitimate enquiries, feedback, submissions, and business correspondence. Communications should be relevant to the matter at hand and expressed in a courteous and constructive manner.
Unacceptable Conduct
The following conduct is not permitted in any communication with the Company or its representatives:
Threatening, intimidating, or coercive behaviour;
Harassment, bullying, or abusive conduct;
Offensive, discriminatory, hateful, or defamatory language;
Repeated unwanted communications after a matter has been addressed;
Obscene, vulgar, or sexually explicit communications;
Attempts to intimidate staff, contractors, talent, investors, or business partners;
Malicious allegations made without factual basis;
Communications intended to disrupt Company operations or interfere with ongoing productions, projects, negotiations, or business relationships;
Publication or dissemination of confidential, proprietary, or private information without authorisation.
Response to Communications
The Company will make reasonable efforts to respond to legitimate business enquiries within an appropriate timeframe. However, the Company reserves the right to:
Decline to respond to communications that are abusive, vexatious, repetitive, or otherwise inappropriate;
Restrict future communications to specified channels;
Terminate correspondence where continued engagement serves no legitimate purpose;
Block, filter, or restrict communications from individuals who violate this policy.
Social Media and Public Communications
The Company encourages constructive engagement on social media and other public platforms. However, the Company reserves the right to remove, report, hide, restrict, or otherwise moderate content that breaches this policy or applicable platform rules.
Nothing in this policy obliges the Company to engage in public discussion regarding confidential business matters, personnel issues, contractual relationships, development projects, financing arrangements, legal disputes, or unpublished productions.
Legal and Regulatory Matters
Where communications concern legal claims, intellectual property matters, contractual disputes, regulatory issues, or allegations of misconduct, the Company may require correspondence to be directed through authorised legal representatives.
The Company reserves all legal rights and remedies in relation to any communication that may constitute defamation, harassment, unlawful discrimination, stalking, malicious communications, misuse of electronic communications systems, or any other unlawful conduct.
Referral to Law Enforcement
The safety and wellbeing of Company personnel, contractors, talent, business partners, and members of the public is a priority.
Any communication that contains threats of violence, threats of harm, harassment, stalking, intimidation, criminal conduct, credible security concerns, or other potentially unlawful behaviour may be documented, retained, and referred to the relevant law enforcement authorities without further notice to the sender.
The Company may also cooperate fully with police, regulatory bodies, courts, and other competent authorities in relation to investigations arising from such communications.
Record Keeping
The Company reserves the right to retain records of communications for operational, legal, compliance, security, and evidential purposes in accordance with applicable laws and data protection requirements.
Amendments
The Company may amend or update this Communications Policy at any time. Continued communication with the Company constitutes acceptance of the current version of this policy.
